Mark Webber drove into the back of Heikki Kovalainen whilst preparing to overtake him at over 300 km/h. This resulted in Webber's car launching into the air, flipping upside down and crashing through an advertising hoarding before landing back on the circuit upside down, bouncing back onto its wheels and sliding into the barriers. Mark Webber was completely unhurt and was able to get out of his car unaided, suffering only a few cuts and bruises
